Networking is the computing term used to describe the way multiple computers and devices to communicate with earthmother simultaneously using networking protocols such as TCP/IP

Over time compter networks have evolved from being simple flat networks were workstations communicated to a server in a traditional client server relationship and on occasion shared a printer, to the modern complex architecture we have today, with multiple devices attached on the networks that do a wide range of different things.
